At Magnolia Montessori School, children ages 6 weeks through 6 years, we nurture curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Science.
The Montessori method isn't just a century-old approach—it's validated by modern neuroscience.
Recent research from Harvard, MIT, and the American Academy of Pediatrics confirms what Montessori educators have practiced for generations:
Self-directed activity, hands-on learning, and collaborative play are essential for brain development
Mixed-age classrooms provide significant social and academic benefits
Executive function skills develop best when children can choose meaningful work
Movement and cognition are closely linked during the crucial years of development
At Magnolia Montessori, our classrooms are designed to optimize how children naturally learn, based on both tradition and the latest understanding of developmental science. See for yourself at our next Walk-In Wednesday Tour.
We Emphasize More than Just Academics
We focus on curiosity, independence, compassion, collaboration, and critical thinking.
...but the Academics are a Huge Strength
Our curriculum presents skills at the time when children are most ready to learn.
We're a Community

Maggie’s first grade class at Whitehouse School includes three former Magnolia students (including her). All three were the only students from that class to qualify for the enrichment program. What a testament to the quality Montessori education they received at Magnolia!

Truly a wonderful school.! She had a great transition from the toddler classroom to the early childhood classroom, made several great friends, and we cannot be happier about her growing independence, caring for the world, understanding fairness, and building intellectual curiosity as a merely 3-year old!Thank you Magnolia!

We know parents have choices when it comes to their children’s education. We know these choices are not easy. Why do so many families choose Montessori? Montessori education has been successfully serving children and families around the world for over a century. The basics remain - and for good reason. Our methods are consistently backed by current research in education and human development. As we move forward into a new future, we believe Montessori has what it takes to prepare children.
